Jason Wahler in jail!

Former Laguna Beach star Jason Wahler , 20, is currently serving time in a Seattle jail stemming from an April 8 charge of assault, criminal trespass and underage drinking.

According to Life & Style, the reality star checked in late last night and is hoping to be out within a few days, says an insider close to him.

“Jason is taking full responsibility for his previous actions,” confirm Jason’s publicist, Siri Garber. “He has been through rehabilitation, done community service and has been attending AA meetings. He would like to be an example to young people to make them realize that there are consequences for bad behavior. He is making amends and looks forward to continuing success in his career.”

Less than a month after leaving Utah’s Cirque Lodge, Lindsay Lohan is poised to make a comeback to the club scene.A source tells Usmagazine.com the actress, 21, is set to host a New Year’s blowout at Las Vegas hot spot LAX.But Lohan isn’t exactly breaking out the noisemakers about the gig.“Lindsay doesn’t want to host, but she’s contractually obligated,” a source says.

The source tells Us Lohan took on the gig in order to pay back the “hundreds of thousands of dollars” she got by agreeing to host her 21st birthday in Sin City at PURE Nightclub (which, like LAX, is owned by Pure Management Group). Lohan was forced to scrap the July 2 bash to focus on her treatment in rehab. Adds the source, “She already took the money from the birthday gig and can’t afford to pay them back.”

Her rep had no comment.

Hannah Montana: The Movie

Hannah Montana: The Movie is a planned film adaptation of the American children's television series Hannah Montana. It has been confirmed by Mitchel Musso, Miley Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus. Its release date has not been announced. In TV Guide, Billy Ray Cyrus and Miley Cyrus stated that they can take time in spring of 2008 to film the movie. Miley Cyrus confirmed that the movie will be released in theaters and may be filmed in Tennessee.

In TV Guide, Miley Cyrus said that Billy Ray will produce the movie, and it will most likely premiere in the winter of 2008. Miley Cyrus stated that the producers and cast are making a script. No details on the plot have been released as of yet but it has been confirmed by Miley Cyrus that the movie will come out in cinemas rather than be a Disney Channel Original Movie. Country Weekly Magazine has reported that Dolly Parton, Heather Locklear, and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson could make appearances in the film. Billy Ray Cyrus has also expressed a desire for Willie Nelson to appear.

Jennifer Lopez is mourning the death of her beloved grandmother Julia Rodriguez, according to The Daily News.
While performing a concert in Los Angeles, J.Lo’s maternal grandma passed away on Saturday.
“Jennifer is with her family right now,” said Jennifer’s spokeswoman, Leslie Sloane-Zelnick.
Ms. Lopez, 38, has yet to confirm her pregnancy.

Heidi & Spencer Fight Off Brush Fire

The Hills may have been put on the map by MTV, but in real life the hills near Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag’s Los Angeles-area home nearly went up in smoke.

The reality TV couple talked to Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM morning show Monday about being trapped by a fire Sunday afternoon near their home. After Montag ran to call 911, she grabbed the garden hose and the couple tried to contain the fire.
Montag recounts, “Spencer was literally down there putting out the fire and I was screaming at him ‘Come back here, the firemen are coming!!’”

“It was her and I putting out the fire with the hose,” Pratt, 24, tells Seacrest. “Until the firemen got there. They were fast.” As the firemen arrived and the fire continue to creep up on the surrounding houses, the couple was told to “get out of here” so the firefighters could do their job.
“The fire is out now,” Pratt told Seacrest Monday morning. But the situation made fiancée Montag, 21, stop and realize this wasn’t a stunt for reality TV, but rather a dose of real life. “Spencer was down there with the garden hose and I was like, oh, what have our lives come to!”
